This week I've been on Holiday in France, Roscoff in Brittany to be exact. Roscoff a quaint little town off the coast of Brittany where my parents apparently went on Holiday 20 years ago when my sister and I were very young. We spent the week taking in the town's sights and the sights of the surrounding countryside. We also went with Nanny (Mum's mum) ans Auntie Chris. I didn't take anny photos of the trip but I know Mum took plenty. I've asked her to e-mail them to me and I'll upload some of them here.

I've just this mmoment got back from France. I;ve been going throught all of the deviation nptices and messages that have uilt up while I've been away and I've been thinking:

It's been about a year and a half since I submitted anything other than a photo to my gallery. I was unable to do the ten requests I promised earlier this year, for which I'd like to apologise to all my watchers. All I ever do is commission people.

Do I even have the right to call myself a deviant?

Starting tomorrow afternoon I'll be leaving going on vacation to France. I'll be back on Friday.

Warning: Kingdom Hearts spoilers below. A lot of it is already common knowledge but I mention ir just in case.

I just finished 385/3 Days and man was it a downer ending. Roxas left the organisation and will never remember a large part of the reason why. Hearing him say at the end that summer vacation ends in seven days is sad when you know what happens to him in a week.
The part where Sora wakes up feels bittersweet to me now. On the one hand Sora is finally awake with his memories resotred and re-united with Donald and Goofy ready to go and kick some Heartless ass. On the other he has no idea of the tragic events that lead up to this moment and most likely never will

As for where I stand on the issue of Xion I personally liked her. I didn't think I would at first but she grew on me as I kept playing the game. I'm not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers here, I know some people hate her and I'm not trying to change their minds. I'm just voicing my opinon.

I only wish I had my PS2 with me now so I could play Kingdom Hearts 2, the end of Roxas' story and the (currently) final part of Sora's. Damn my PS3 for not being backward compatible!

Now all I can do is wait for Birth by Sleep. I don't own a PSP and I can't say whether or not I'll have one by the time the game eventually comes out but the fact is that I'm intrigued by what I know of it so far. I'm especially curious to find out why Ven is identical to Roxas and what's the connection between Master Xehanort and Terra...

I'd like to get to know my watchers and friends better and to start I'd like to make a list of when your birthdays are. It would mean a lot to me if you'd all reply when your b-days are and I'll make a list in this journal.

I mentioned in my previous journal that I knew of a volunteer centre near my flat. On Tuesday this week I went there in search of a job as a volunteer admin assistant and yesterday I signed up as a volunteer at Young Bristol, a recruiting agency also located within minutes of the flat, conveniently enough. I’m looking forward to it as the job they expect me to do s mainly updating the records which I’m used to from volunteering at the school where Mum works, it will give me valuable experience working in an office environment, I’ll get to know my co-workers and develop social skills and I’m sure it will prove to be a valuable addition to my CV. For some reason every employer in the country requires their first time applicants to have prior experience working in an office environment, which of course they wouldn’t have unless they’d previously been employed. Ironic, huh? That’s why volunteering seemed like a logical first step.

I officially start Thursday afternoon and will be going in for one afternoon a month to get used to it before we decide on longer hours.
